RCM Analytics - The Problem

Nearly all PMS and EHR systems are fundamentally inadequate at RCM analytics and reporting. Why? Because healthcare organizations purchase EMRs based on clinical workflow capabilities, not reporting. This means vendors don’t need to invest significantly in analytics – and it shows.

What does Voyant mean?  Why is the company named Voyant? Voyant is a French word, meaning a “soothsayer” or “prophet”. It derives from the verb voir (present participle voyant), which literally means “to see”.

The founders of Voyant used to run a large national revenue cycle management company (RCM), aka medical billing company. After building it and then a merger backed by private equity (that company became Coronis Health), we weren’t sure what to do with ourselves. We had spent a lot of time and money working to solve billing problems with data and systems we built when we ran that medical billing company and we thought we could help others solve these same difficult challenges.
